The first fact I would like to let all the sisters know about me is that I am currently serving in the U.S. Army. The second fact is that I am a proud muslim first and a mexican man second.
My name is Martin Gerardo Garcia. I was born in Wichita, Kansas to immigrant parents 28 years ago. Throughout my life I read in such a voracious fashion that my knowledge of history as well as current events tends to be overwhelming for most. It was the will of Allah that through my studies that I gravitated to Islam. The pursuit of knowledge led me to become a muslim nine years ago. As of late for fun I have began riding horses again and I love to frequent book stores on a regular basis. Some may find my open mindedness a bit disconcerting. Although I consider myself a devout muslim many would find my westernized persona a bit... for lack of a better term preverse. Some of our more conservative brothers and sisters find my way of thought far to accomadating to western ways. Especially my thoughts on the treatment of women.
My attitude toward women is very open. I want someone who will be my equal. A woman who is intelligent and virtuous. The ideal woman for me must have ambition whether she stays at home with the children or runs her own buissness. A good marriage is about reciprication on all mediums of communication between a husband and wife. If you desire a spouse who will value his wifes opinion please contact me and we can exchange our thoughts on what makes a marriage work.I do not expect my wife to subject her actions to my will. The only being that deserves such dedication is Allah. |
