  5. How do I choose a username, and what's the importance of this?
    Your username is your log in name and unique identifier on Single Muslim.
    • Usernames must consist only of letters (a, b, c...) numbers (1, 2, 3...) and underscores (_).
    • You cannot use spaces or any special characters within your username, for example: @ ? * # % $ ( [ : and so on.
    • Your username must be at least 6 characters in length and shorter than 16 characters in length.
    • You should not have more than 5 numbers in your username.
    • Usernames cannot be or contain personal contact information or clues to your personal contact information.
    • Usernames cannot contain innapropirate, abusive, sexually oriented or offensive content.

    Any username that is considered innapropirate by the site admin may result in your profile being suspended or removed from the website.

    Valid usernames would include:
    • alikhan
    • alikhan86
    • ali_khan_86

  6. When registering, I am told my email address is already in use. What does this mean?
    Each SingleMuslim.com profile must have a unique email address. If you (or somebody else) has already created a profile with this email address, you will either need to use a different email address, remove your account or contact us for further assistance.

    If you believe your email address is being used by someone else, please contact us immediately.
